winning the lottery

Yesterday I bought a lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing here in Massachusetts. I don't know if other states have this same drawing too, but I am going for it. I'm not really one to buy a Powerball ticket, quick pic, but I do like the occasional fun of a Scratch Ticket.

See here's the deal. Today I started making a list of what I would do if I do win, {which I have more chances of me getting struck by lightning, than winning...}

Money is a good thing to have. It's stability. It doesn't take a financial advisor to make you realize that. But, a plan is good when you win that much.

After making my plan, I realized that my list is actually small.

It included paying off our mortgages, giving family financial gifts, charitable donations, buying a few things for our home, gifting some friends. And that's about it.

I then realized that without winning the BIG TICKET that these things can all be accomplished. Maybe not as quickly as winning a ticket, but it can be done. It is being done. "God will provide."

So, God if you put this winning ticket in my hand, I will do what needs to be done. If you don't, I still will do it because those things are all achievable. Anything that you put your mind to is achievable.

My husband and I work as a financial team. We have Faith! It's the only way to get things done! Amen to that.

I need to share a blog with you...

Nesting With Grace

Okay, I need to share this blog with you that I L-O-V-E!

Nesting With Grace

I love her style and everything about how she puts together a room for functionality and yet, it's all so beautiful! {An added bonus is...}If you have kids, or thinking about having kids, or know someone who has kids,...you can get design tips from nursery to big kids.

Nesting With Grace

She has a small home in Connecticut and moved to CT from out west. Her name is Brooke and she is a designer and momma to 3. {a new momma to an adorable baby boy, too!} You'll have to read her story on her blog, but you have to visit and like her on IG too!

Nesting With Grace

Did you notice her kitchen tile? It's the same tile that will be in my new bathroom and the same tile that my friend picked out too for her home. Brooke has convinced us all to use this tile. That it can work in New England and yes, it's breathtaking!

I'm seriously thinking about having her come up to MA and design a room for me. Reading her blog, watching her style in her smaller home a.) Makes me want to go and design our rental property for the new renters stat, or move back in myself. That would be so weird... b.) challenges me to create the look in a 4,000 sq. ft. home.

Are you hooked yet?

Nesting With Grace link today and give her some bloggy love!
She also offers design services too!
