Beauty through some messy-The messiest master bedroom {maybe in the world}

Hi overgrown front yard. So much to be done out here, but we are making progress inside.

So many signs in this house that show {BIG LOVE} and memories on the property. It is unbelievable! The tulips that Dave helped plant with the original owner when he was 12 have started to bloom.
AND...

Welcome to the world's messiest master bedroom, which right now is a master mess and, "Hey there, heart."
 I guess we are right where we belong.

Even on a cloudy day, those clouds look beautiful and I never want to take this view for granted. Ever! So please friends and family, keep reminding me of the view, even when I'm all old and wrinkled.

Can you see the beauty through the mess?

Here's some of the master. A new ceiling was installed and wow it has made such a HUGE difference. The darker patches are still wet plaster drying. The walls were a very dated paneling, so Pop {father-in-law} primed over those. Notice the wacky layers of flooring?

And all of those doors have cedar closets hidden behind them. But, as you can see the doors still need to be worked on. The windows are being repaired and repainted too.

BEFORE {Above-sunburn peeling ceilings}
Pop a.k.a. project manager, master gardner, general contractor and yes, I was listening to him in this picture, even though I was behind the camera. He's like the neighbor on that old show Home Improvement that never shows his face. Hee, hee

SOME AFTER {BELOW-new plaster drying}
Our plaster guy is in his 20's and could do this all day long. Hours upon hours. Not us!

I hope that you've enjoyed the world's messiest master bedroom.
Up next...The Alfred Hitchcock Hallway...
