As many of you know, and many of you may not know, my profession of 15 years has been and is a teacher. I teach 2nd grade. I truly love my job and know that it is what I was meant to do in my life. Teach kids. When I am at my job, I am truly in it. Teaching is my main priority. It's my passion and the school year is about to begin and how are you going to do it all?
I have been asked so many times! I know that some people think that it's impossible to give 100% to all of my roles.
So how do I juggle it all?
Well, this might not be interesting, but here's how.
First! My role as a teacher is totally separate from all of my other roles. I NEVER blog about it.
Life As A Blogger
I maintain this blog and all of the social media that goes with it. I love blogging and it's a creative outlet for me. I just write and I love to take pictures. It's easy for me. {The picture part, I am forever learning.} I write posts whenever I have time at home. Some people meditate. I write. I schedule my posts ahead of time, so that they are posted automatically. You may know that I am in the classroom, but see a blog post go up and think, "Is she crazy? She should be teaching!" Don't panic. I am. It's all prescheduled for me as the same with tweets, etc.
Life As A Repurposer
I also maintain a re-purpose shop with my friend, Jenn called The Flea Circus. We have a small shop at Crompton Collective in Worcester. We share this role and also have a helper, who is like our secret shopper. She gets items for us and keeps us going. Jenn and I each have our own creative style. She works on pieces. I work on pieces. We have to do this on our own time, which for me is usually on a Sunday.
Life As A Teacher
Love it. Love it. Love it. I will always be one.
Life as a Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Friend
No explanation needed for my loves. They put me into balance and support me.
