bedroom makeover before and after {#1}

If you're new here you may not remember this, but this is what our bedroom looked like before the makeover began...

And every room in this house basically looked like this...some worse, but I won't do the whole reveal just yet.

 and it actually had brown paneling all over and plastic over the windows and oh boy it needed some major attention! 

We started with the ceilings and plastered away. We then moved onto the walls and new trim. It was a ton of work, but it was worth it. I will admit, there were times when I thought that we must have gone a little crazy because of how much work just one room took and we had about 8 more to go, plus every bathroom!  

And we still have more to do, but making progress feels AWESOME! I have to admit that for sure! Take a look below and you can see why I just love posting pictures of this room.

{Before} furniture and window treatments were complete

The windows are actually being changed and a cute breakfast porch with french doors is being added. A place where we can sip our morning java and watch the sunrise because our sunrises are pretty awesome here. An after thought addition..., but that's okay.

No matter what room you are doing. This is very sound advice.
